Chalet on the Katschberg with private sauna near the slopes

This typical Austrian chalet is located on the Katschberg, on the border between Carinthia and Salzburg. The wood-burning stove, the use of a lot of wood in the interior and the location on the mountain create a typical Austrian atmosphere. However, the luxury facilities provide modern comfort. On the ground floor you will find an open living room with a dining table and a sitting area. There is also a bedroom with bathroom and a fully equipped open kitchen. On the first floor there are three bedrooms, a loft with two beds, three bathrooms and a sauna. There is ample parking space, a ski storage room and, last but not least, a very nice terrace with wonderful mountain views.
From the chalet it is about 1.5 km to the supermarket and restaurants in the centre. Because of its location on the mountain, you almost have a ski-in, ski-out possibility here. The Katschberg ski region consists of two mountains. The first mountain is the Tschaneck. This is ideal for beginners and families with children. The other mountain is the Aineck. It is known for its longer descents. Did you know that the longest descent of Austria is located here? The A1 descent is no less than 6 km long! In many places in the ski resort, you can also enjoy delicious food. Keep in mind that with fresh snow, you will need snow chains to reach the chalet.
Also in summer, this region guarantees a lot of fun! The area has many mountains and lakes. Therefore, there is a rich offer of hiking, Nordic walking, mountain biking and trail running routes. Fishing, making beautiful boat trips or just taking a refreshing dive can be done in one of the many lakes in the area!
