The Katschberg ski region consists of two mountains. The first mountain is the Tschaneck. This is ideal for beginners and families with children. The other mountain is the Aineck. It is known for its longer descents. Did you know that the longest descent of Austria is located here? The A1 descent is no less than 6 km long! In many places in the ski resort, you can also enjoy delicious food. Keep in mind that with fresh snow, you will need snow chains to reach the chalet.
Also in summer, this region guarantees a lot of fun! The area has many mountains and lakes. Therefore, there is a rich offer of hiking, Nordic walking, mountain biking and trail running routes. Fishing, making beautiful boat trips or just taking a refreshing dive can be done in one of the many lakes in the area!
