Lovely spacious chalet in ski and hiking paradise Lungau

This beautiful semi-detached chalet is centrally but also very quietly located between the various ski areas in the ski and hiking paradise of Lungau at the foot of the St. Wolfgangkapelle and at the edge of the lively 800 year old Mauterndorf. Within walking distance you will find several cosy restaurants. At only 10 car minutes from the motorway you are at your destination. The left and right part of the chalet are identical and you will of course have your own entrance and terrace. If you rent both parts it is for example ideal for two families travelling together.

Each chalet has on the ground floor a cosy living room with a wood-burning stove and an open kitchen. You will also find an extra toilet and washing machine here. The kitchen is very well equipped. On the first floor there are two bedrooms, each with its own modern bathroom with shower and toilet. Outside, next door, there is a storage room for ski equipment and bicycles in the summer. The chalet has a lovely garden and terrace with a beautiful view of the surrounding meadows and mountains.

In winter, you can easily reach the snow-assured starting point of the Aineck-Katschberg ski area from this chalet, but Grosseck-Speiereck, Fanningberg and Obertauern are also very popular ski areas in this region. You can reach the slopes in a few minutes with the free ski bus or by car. The area belongs to the top skiing areas of Austria with almost 250 km of prepared slopes and different levels of difficulty and an altitude difference between 1064 and 2410 m.
In summer, this beautiful region offers numerous opportunities for hiking, mountain biking, playing golf and relaxing. Mauterndorf is about 30 minutes away from the Millstätter See and 45 minutes by car from the Weissensee. From this chalet in Mauterndorf you can reach a lovely outdoor pool, tennis courts and numerous good restaurants on foot in a few minutes. In short, a real must for a wonderful holiday
