Piesendorf-Walchen itself has a small ski area called Erlebnisberg Naglköpfl. Here is a practice area with a tow lift (Naglköpfllift), where beginners can learn to ski in peace and quiet. Airboarding, tobogganing and snowtubing are also possible here. The popular ski area Zell am See - Kaprun is just around the corner. In a few minutes by car you can reach the ski lifts of Kaprun (6.4 km) and Zell am See (8 km). The ski bus stops 300 m from the chalet. In the basement you will find a spacious ski storage room where you can store your skis.
In summer, the region offers numerous marked hiking and biking trails for all levels. Fancy a refreshing dip? Visit one of the many outdoor or indoor swimming pools. The famous Krimmler Wasserfälle is just a stone's throw away. Once back at your holiday home, you can still enjoy the Austrian sun on your own terrace and garden
