There are 3 popular ski areas in the immediate vicinity; Zillertal Arena, Kitzbühler Alpen and the Wildkogel Arena. The last ski area is really an ideal area for families with children. The Salzburger Superskikarte gives you access to all three areas and you can even take a trip to Kaprun, with the eternal glacier, Zell am See and the famous Saalbach-Hinterglemm.
This region is known as a perfect summer area and has won awards for it. There are several great excursions for all ages, such as a visit to the nearby, famous Krimmler waterfalls, the highest waterfalls in Europe and the beautiful reservoir near Königsleiten.
