At the edge of the beautiful village of Wald-Köningsleiten lies this beautiful semi-detached chalet, which is divided into three floors.
On the first floor is the attractive living room with a spacious corner sofa, two lovely armchairs and a cosy 10-person dining area. The U-shaped open kitchen is fully equipped (large fridge/freezer, oven, dishwasher) and allows you to enjoy a delicious meal. From here you have a fantastic view of the mountains on one side and the valley on the other.
Through the French doors in the living room, you can reach the corner balcony with enough space to relax.
In total there are 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. On the ground floor there are 2 bedrooms with a double bed, 1 bedroom with 2 bunk beds and 2 bathrooms. On the 1st floor there is a bedroom with a double bed and a private bathroom.
Would you like to relax after an active day? In the basement there is a private sauna with rain shower, including 2 relax loungers and an extra seat where you can relax.
There is also a skiroom in the basement and you have access to a washing machine and a tumble dryer.
The lodge is situated in a quiet location directly at the cross-country ski trail and the Hohe Tauern National Park. The centre is within walking distance and has several restaurants and shops. Every morning you can get delicious fresh rolls from the local bakery.
Wald- Königsleiten is located between three famous skiing areas; the Zillertal Arena, the Wildkogel Arena and the skiing area of Kitzbühel. The Zillertal Arena and the Kitzbühel ski area are ideal for advanced skiers and those who want to cover many kilometres on the slopes. The Wildkogel Arena ski area, on the other hand, is ideal for beginners and families with children. In Bramberg you will find the longest lit winter toboggan run in Europe!
In the summer, too, there is plenty to do in this region. Due to its location directly at the Hohe Tauern National Park, this location is perfect for many beautiful walks or mountain bike tours. But also the most beautiful car trips can be made for example over the beautiful Gerlos Pass or over the Grossglockner (3798 mtr high). A stone's throw away are the famous Krimmler waterfalls. These are the largest waterfalls in Europe with an impressive drop height of 380 metres and belong to the sixth highest in the world.
Wald is also an excellent starting point for golf enthusiasts. In Mittersill (20 km) is the nearest possibility and within three quarters of an hour you can reach the most beautiful golf courses in Austria, such as those of Eichenheim, Kitzbuhel or Schwarzsee. And if you are a real water lover, then take a refreshing dip in the local swimming pool
