Alpenjoy Lodge with luxurious sauna near the ski lift

On a gently rolling hillside with fantastic views in the picturesque Donnersbachwald is a small chalet park. The location is ideal, close to the valley station of the Riesneralm and yet in the middle of nature on a babbling brook. Here you will find this detached and luxuriously furnished chalet. The chalet is built in harmony with the surroundings and offers a lot of privacy. There is an Alpine atmosphere with plenty of space and luxury. The entrance hall is luxurious with access to a room for storing skis and ski boots. There is a spacious living room and a modern open kitchen and direct access to a terrace. This is a great place to spend time together. For the youngest guests, there are toys to keep them entertained. There are four spacious bedrooms and three bathrooms. One of the bathrooms has a wonderful luxury sauna, infrared panels and a rain shower. Here you can completely relax after an active day in the mountains. It is possible to charge an electric car at the chalet for a fee.

In the winter months, a thick pack of snow turns the Donnersbachtal into a real winter fairy tale. You can choose from two snow-sure ski areas with a total of around 50 km of pistes, the Riesneralm and the Planneralm. The Planneralm is Styria's highest ski village! If you are staying with children, the Riesneralm with its own "children's ski area" is highly recommended. For the "ski mile-eaters" you will find the 4-Berge-Schaukel, the largest ski area in Styria, with Schladming as its centre and over 167 kilometres of slopes, just 33 minutes away by car. Would you like do to something other than skiing? Then pay a visit to the natural toboggan run near the Mörsbachalm. Do you like cross-country skiing more? A short distance from the chalet you can get on the cross-country ski trails.

In the summer months you will also find a versatile holiday destination here. Donnersbachtal offers numerous hiking and mountain bike trails along crystal-clear mountain streams, lakes and fields of dark red Alpine roses up to an altitude of 2,375 m. Furthermore, there is an E-Enduro Bike Park , a challenging 3D archery trail and a tierHOLZpark for the little ones with wooden play animals along the trail. Swimming and recreation can be done at the nearby Badesee Donnersbachwald or at the Putterersee near Irdning. Truly unique is the heated "Gipfel" pool on the top of the mountain Riesnerkrispen (1922m) with 360 degree panoramic view
