This self-catering holiday home is located at an altitude of 1,500 m. Not entirely surprisingly, it therefore offers magical mountain views, from the Wiedersbergerhorn to the Steinbergalm. The children can play by the nearby stream and you can unwind in the wood-burning stove-heated chalet. Cooking is done the traditional way here: on a wood-burning cooker (wood is provided free of charge). The Alpbachtal-Seenland-Card is included in the price
On arrival in summer, you drive to the homeowner's farm, 4 km above Inneralpbach, who will then drive with you to the holiday flat, 5 km away. In winter, you can park your car at the farm, before the owner takes you to your destination on a quad bike, luggage and all. Transport during the stay is offered for a fee. From the alpine pasture, you can ski across open terrain to the Schatzberg ski slope. The region is also great for snowshoeing!

The dirt road to the cottage is quite a challenge, not suitable for a car with little ground clearance. If you are looking for a cottage as a base for trips, I would not recommend this one. If you are looking for peace, space and simplicity, in short the "real" Alpine feeling, this house is highly recommended. There is only 1 socket, powered by a battery that has to be replaced every day. This is because all power is converted to 220 volts. There are no solar panels. This left us without power a few times. I therefore think price/quality ratio is just adequate. Wood-fired cooker and hot water boiler function excellently.

Despite the few luxuries in the cottage, we had a TOP HOLIDAY! ...Electricity was a problem only when the farmer was there we had electricity and for the rest a battery, but that was so empty. The bed we slept in was a good bed.We were with 2 and 2 dogs but for 6 people we found the house much too small. On arrival we were kindly received. The location was TOP , but a car with a strong engine is recommended ;-)

We had a wonderful and relaxing week here at the EAGGA Niederleger-Alm. The location here is exactly what we have always wanted.... Far away from everyday life and noise, in the middle of beautiful nature with a wonderful view of the mountains. The cows and the pigs next door made it especially nice for us. Also for dogs a great accommodation and are welcome.
Great service, good tips for excursions and nice entertaining conversations with the owners. We felt very welcome and will be very happy to come back.

All 6 family members thought it was a great holiday despite the mixed weather 🙃👍. It certainly took some getting used to that there was no fridge, cooker and generally only electricity from a truck battery, so it was very basics living. As I said, thanks to the efforts of the landlords, we really liked it!

Just forget everything except the fire, otherwise it will get cold!

Nice hut life in beautiful surroundings. The batteries for the electricity are used up very quickly despite economical management. So in the evenings we only went to the toilet in the cellar by candlelight and torch. Effortful landlords who took us down from the mountain when it snowed.

Beautiful place high up in the mountains, view is a treat. Please note that the path up the hill is really unpaved, type of car may be important. For cooking and a cup of tea, the cooker must first be put on by means of wood. We had brought a gas burner so it went a little faster. Electricity is with 1 outlet and battery is sometimes a bit of a puzzle
