In overeenstemming met de verordening van het Ministerie van Toerisme is toegang tot en verblijf in Mekka met ingang van 29 april 2025 verboden voor personen die geen officieel toegangsvisum (het Hajj Visa) hebben dat is uitgegeven voor het Hajj-seizoen 1446H. Het is voor houders van een toeristenvisum of een ander soort visum streng verboden om Mekka binnen te gaan tijdens het Hajj-seizoen.
