The holiday home is located in Lhee, about 800 metres from Dwingeloo, overlooking the ash fields towards the village. Just 500 metres away is the Dwingelderveld National Park with its vast forests and some 1,200 hectares of heathland. Dwingeloo, one of Drenthe's most beautiful villages with around 2,500 inhabitants, is mainly known for its Havezate "Oldengaerde" and the Sint Nicolaaskerk with its typical onion-shaped spire. In the immediate vicinity, you can cycle wonderfully; you are almost directly in the Dwingelderveld. Enjoy the peace and nature via the beautiful junction routes.
