This beautiful group home is located in the western part of Carinthia, surrounded by mountains, rivers and forests, close to many tourist attractions.
This accommodation has a maximum capacity of 22 people, in its nine bedrooms, all of which have a flat-screen TV, private bathroom with shower, a hairdryer, a safe, a wardrobe and a small desk. The wide beds are comfortable and will ensure a good night's sleep. The huge living room with TV and lovely sofas, a cosy bar and a fireplace, a terrace with a barbecue area and a beautiful garden is everything you need for a great stay. The large kitchen is fully equipped to prepare a nice dinner for your whole family or travel group. Of course, there are plenty of dining tables for everyone. Your cars can safely park in the private car park, and you won't have to worry about your ski equipment or bikes. A specially designed area for your ski/bike, with a ski boot dryer, complete this house. This house is ideal for family reunions, business meetings, ski or bike groups, etc.
Note: For safety reasons, guests are NOT allowed to use the fireplace. It can only be offered when the homeowners are available and only under the supervision of the homeowners.
You can enjoy plenty of fun and recreational outdoor activities here in both winter and summer. The house is located in the Hohe Tauern National Park, one of the largest national parks in Europe (1,800 km²), a wonder of mother nature, with more than 300 mountain peaks (above 3,000 m), beautiful glaciers, 26 major waterfalls, 551 mountain lakes, in short, a beautiful landscape. You really can go anywhere from here! In summer, there is plenty to do: rafting, beautiful waterfalls and gorges (Groppensteinschlucht and Raggaschluchtklamm), panorama roads (Großglockner Hochalpenstraße, Malta Hochalmstraße), toboggan run, cycling, hiking, paragliding, lakes (Tristachersee, Weissensee), outdoor adventure pool (Winklern, Obervellach), zoos...and much more, less than 30 minutes' drive away. Of course, Europe's most famous panorama road and one of Austria's TOP 3 excursion destinations - the Großglockner Hochalpenstraße (Queen of the Mountain) - is not to be missed. Mountain hiking trails and the famous Alpe-Adria R8 cycling route pass right by the door. A football pitch, a children's playground, a riding school and the bus station are 150 m away. Just a 5-minute walk away you will find some charming traditional restaurants. In winter, the breathtaking ski slopes in the area await you. At 200 m from the house there is a skating rink, a sledge slope and a ski slope for beginners, open when there is natural snow. In Lienz, Heiligenblut or Mölltaler Gletscher, there are numerous ski slopes for beginners as well as advanced skiers, 20 minutes away by car. Skiing or cycling, one element is almost always the same - You ride through fantastic natural surroundings and enjoy sensational views.
