About this property
Not far from the valley station of the Riesneralm and the wonderfully rippling brook is a small chalet park. This detached chalet is located on the lower level of the property with a wonderful view of the picturesque Donnersbach forest and the Riesneralm.
The large luxury chalet is built in harmony with the surroundings. During your stay it offers you a lot of privacy. Inside, the chalet has an atmospheric, modern character, offering plenty of space and luxury. On the ground floor you will find a large living and dining room with a modern, open kitchen and direct access to the terrace. Altogether four attractively furnished bedrooms and three bathrooms are at your disposal. In the garden is a beautiful sauna house to relax after an active day in the mountains.
There are 4 parking spaces at the chalet and wood for the stove is provided free of charge. There are 4 public e-chargers in the village.
The Donnersbachtal offers you lots of possibilities. The unspoilt nature and a wealth of sports facilities make this valley a versatile holiday destination in the summer months. There is a wide range of activities for young and old, such as the "E-Enduro Bikepark", fly fishing etc. On the Riesneralm there are various activities organised especially for families. Very unique is the Gipfelbad at a height of no less than 1900 metres. This is a heated swimming pool on the summit of the Riesnerkrispen (1922 m) with a 360-degree panoramic view.
During the winter months, a thick layer of snow enchants the Donnersbachtal valley into a real winter fairy tale. You can choose between two snow-sure ski areas with a total of about 50 km of slopes, the Riesneralm and the Planneralm. By the way, the Planneralm is the highest situated ski village in Styria. The area is ideal for families: the Riesneralm even has its own 'children's ski area'. For those who want to try something different, there is the natural toboggan run at the Mörsbachalm. Do you like cross-country skiing more? A short distance from the chalet you can get on the cross-country ski trails.
From April 2023, the chalet can be used with a hottube. The hottube has a whirlpool function with 8 water jets and LED light. Furthermore, the wood for heating is provided free of charge
