Even off the slopes, numerous winter hiking trails, perfectly groomed cross-country skiing trails and the longest illuminated natural toboggan run in the Zillertal provide varied winter sports opportunities. Two snow tubing lifts in the Gerlosstein skiing area or a fast ride on the Arena Coaster at the valley station of the Rosenalm cable car in Zell am Ziller provide fun and action.
