In winter the ski bus takes you from the front door to the famous ski areas of the Rofanseilbahn and Christlum, to the popular Achensee it is only a stone's throw and the well-known hiking areas are also easily accessible from the house. Of course, the famous ski areas of the Zillertal are also within easy reach from Maurach (approx. 20 km)
