According to the Product Eco-responsibility (Amendment) Bill 2023, hotels in Hong Kong can no longer provide free disposable plastic toiletries and plastic-bottled water in the guest room. Guests are encouraged to bring their own supplies. China has restrictions on geographic information data and uses a data blurring algorithm that adds random offsets to latitude and longitude data for national security purposes.

Mandatory Fees and Taxes

• Due to Hong Kong government quarantine policy changes, guests for whom quarantine is required should contact the hotel before booking to confirm applicable quarantine policy for their circumstances.
• According to government regulations, from May 31, guests 12 years old and over must present one of the following certificates when accessing hotel restaurants, bars, or other specified premises: 1. Proof of having received at least 3 dose of a COVID-19 vaccine, or 2 dose if within 6 months from the 2nd dose. 2. A COVID-19 Vaccination Medical Exemption Certificate. • From Dec 9, 2021, guests entering the hotel premises and restaurants are required to use the LeaveHomeSafe mobile application to scan the venue QR code in accordance with the government's latest social distancing measures under the Prevention and Control of Disease (Requirements and Directions) (Business and Premises) Regulation (Cap. 599F).
