All citizens of Chile, regardless of the duration of their stay, and all foreigners who stay in the country for at least 60 consecutive days may have to pay the national sales tax (19%) when checking out. To receive tax exemption, foreign citizens must pay for their stay upon entry in foreign currency (not Chilean pesos) or with a credit card issued abroad and present a valid passport along with the migration card they received upon entry into the country. If a person subject to paying the tax and another exempt from the same share a room, the rate may be applied to the entire room. This property will not accommodate hen, stag or similar parties. Please inform Cala Melí in advance of your expected arrival time. In response to Coronavirus (COVID-19), additional safety and sanitation measures are in effect at this property. When travelling with pets, an extra charge of CLP 10,000 per pet, per night applies. A maximum of 2 pets is allowed. Please note pets and children (0-12 yrs) are not allowed in the Villa Deluxe or One-Bedroom Villa. For cabins with a hot tub, please note, firewood, or pellets are included during stay. Use of the hot tub is entirely the responsibility of the guest. Please note housekeeping is not offered during stays. Clean bed linen and towels will be provided periodically for stays longer than 5 nights. A prepayment of 50% of the reservation total is required to confirm this reservation.
