Additional transaction fees may apply for local residents, as well as additional 21% VAT, which must be paid at the hotel. Payable directly to the hotel by local residents only. Tourists will receive a refund for the VAT Tax, when they pay for their accommodations. To receive the refund, they must pay with a foreign credit card or provide their passport number and confirm their address.

A VAT exemption is available to travelers who present a valid passport or ID showing they are not a resident of Argentina and who pay with a non-Argentine card or via a bank transfer from outside Argentina. This exemption applies only to accommodation, including bookings where breakfast is included.
