No pets and no service animals are allowed at this property. El Nido environmental fee of PHP 400.00 per adult and PHP 250.00 per child will be collected. Land and Boat Transfer Policies Land transfer from and to Lio Airport to El Nido Pier, boat transfer from and to El Nido Pier to Cauayan Island Resort are included in the rate, sharing with other guests. Sea travel is subject to weather conditions and Port Authority rules and regulations. Please be advised that flights departing after 04:00 PM to El Nido are not recommended due to the Philippine Coast Guard’s night navigation restrictions for boat transfers to and from our island resorts. Cauayan Island Resort is not responsible for any changes in airline flight schedules that may result in missing the final boat transfer. In the event of adverse weather conditions that cause boat transfers to be suspended, any unused reservations or nights will be forfeited. However, our team will assist in arranging alternative accommodation in El Nido town if necessary. The Resort reserves the right to refuse transfer beyond the scheduled time. In case of a fortuitous event or failure to comply with this procedure, the Resort shall not be held responsible for failure to avail of the transfer included with the room rate resulting from flight delays, forfeiture, and unused rooms. A special boat transfer schedule can be arranged at PHP 6,000.00 per way while a special van transfer can be arranged at PHP 3,500.00 per way, except beyond 05:00 PM and subject to weather conditions. Rates and transfer schedules are subject to change without prior notice. House Rules The guest is responsible for any damage or loss to the assigned villa and to the resort facilities. The guest agrees to pay for any such damage or loss and authorizes Cauayan Island Resort to charge the said loss or damage to the guest’s credit card. Food, beverages, pets, firearms, deadly weapons, smoking and drugs are strictly prohibited in the Resort. There are designated areas in the bar and restaurant for smoking. No cooking, cooking appliances, or combustibles. Outside food and drinks are strictly not allowed on the Island. The restaurant offers an array of food. No unauthorized boats. Cauayan Island Resort would like to remind the guests that having outside pre-arranged tours or activities is strictly prohibited. For security reasons, we do not allow unauthorized boats near the resort’s perimeter. Compulsory Gala Dinner is required for all inhouse guests staying on the night of Christmas Eve on 24.12.2025, and New Year’s Eve 31.12.2025. Additional charges apply. Cauayan Island Resort Boat Transfer & Force Majeure Policy At Cauayan Island Resort, the safety and well-being of the guests are top priorities. The island resort adheres strictly to maritime regulations set by the Philippine Coast Guard (PCG). The following policies apply in situations beyond the resort's control: 1. Suspension of Boat Transfers Due to Rough Seas In cases where flights to El Nido proceed as scheduled, but the Philippine Coast Guard suspends boat transfers due to rough waves or adverse sea conditions, Cauayan Island Resort must comply with the advisory. As a result, the resort will be unable to transfer guests from El Nido Pier to the resort. This situation is beyond the resort’s control. Full charges for the reservation will apply, as the resort remains operational and ready to accommodate guests. 2. Philippine Coast Guard-Imposed Boat Transfer Cutoff (05:00 PM) The Philippine Coast Guard enforces a boat transfer cutoff time of 05:00 PM. If guests arrive in El Nido beyond this time due to delayed, late, or rebooked flights—circumstances beyond the resort’s control—the following applies: The resort will be unable to accommodate late-night boat transfers for safety reasons. Full charges for the reservation will apply, as accommodations remain available. Guests affected by delayed flights must arrange overnight accommodations in El Nido at their own expense. The resort strongly recommends booking flights that arrive in El Nido before 03:00 PM to ensure a seamless transfer to the resort. The resort appreciates guest's understanding and cooperation.
