In accordance with the Institutional Regulations and the rules governing the fee for access, with or without a shuttle service, in Venice and the small islands of the Venetian Lagoon, an additional fee is charged to day-trippers who do not stay overnight and plan to visit the historic city centre from Friday to Sunday or on public holidays, from 08:30 AM to 04:00 PM. The fee will be from EUR 5.00 to 10.00 per day, depending on the date of booking. After payment, tourists must have a confirmation. Exempt from this fee are children under 14; residents of Venice and the Veneto region; people working or studying in Venice. Guests staying overnight are also exempt from this fee and must pay the city tax at the accommodation facilities. A cleaning tax is not included in the reservation price and is payable separately at the hotel. Mandatory gala dinner fees may apply at Italy hotels. Guests should contact the hotel directly for more information. Please note that this property has several locations. Guests are kindly requested to contact the establishment at least a week in advance to arrange check-in. The hotel needs a week in order to decide the most convenient meeting point and time. A member of staff will meet you at the water-bus stop closest to the apartment you have chosen, will escort you to the accommodation, and will provide you with important information for your stay. No guests aside from the ones mentioned in the booking are allowed to stay in the apartments. Smoking is forbidden in all apartments. The cleaning, bed linen and towels are included in the rate. Additional costs: A mandatory check-in fee applies per apartment per stay: an extra fee applies if you wish to check-in in the apartment after 20:00. These late arrivals must be confirmed by Grimaldi Apartments in advance. Please note that a refundable deposit fee may be required at check-in. Please note that on 24 and 31 December the establishment will not be able to accept any arrivals in the apartment after 15:00. On 25 December and 1 January no arrivals can be accepted.
