All citizens of Chile, regardless of the duration of their stay, and all foreigners who stay in the country for at least 60 consecutive days may have to pay the national sales tax (19%) when checking out. To receive tax exemption, foreign citizens must pay for their stay upon entry in foreign currency (not Chilean pesos) or with a credit card issued abroad and present a valid passport along with the migration card they received upon entry into the country. If a person subject to paying the tax and another exempt from the same share a room, the rate may be applied to the entire room. This property will not accommodate hen, stag or similar parties. Please inform Santiago Centro in advance of your expected arrival time. The property will contact you after you book to provide instructions. A damage deposit of USD 150 is required on arrival. This will be collected as a cash payment.
