The old village with beautiful half-timbered houses, impressive castles and an authentic atmosphere, is very photogenic. From the village, you can walk to the castles or climb the Philippsburg tower to enjoy fantastic views.

Another nice place is Beilstein, a charming medieval village on the Moselle, often called "Sleeping Beauty of the Moselle" for its picturesque character.

Around Cochem you can also enjoy hiking and cycling. If you like a brisk walk, head to Bremm, famous for its steep vineyards, perfect place for a challenging hike with panoramic views.
