For example, visit the Liberation Museum Zeeland for an impressive insight into the Battle of the Scheldt, or enjoy a day of fun at Toversluis in Sluis. Nature lovers will enjoy the Aardenburg Havenpolder, a small-scale nature reserve with a rich mix of grassland, marshland, pollard willows, pools and reed beds. Nearby Hulst is also a must: in this historic fortified town, you will find, among other things, 's Landshuis, whose garden has been transformed into a sculpture garden—a beautiful resting place right in the centre.
