Also worth seeing in the area is the town of Salernes (13 km), known for its pottery and the characteristic red tiles that adorn many old houses.

For exceptional natural beauty, head to the Provençal town of Cotignac (16 km), where you can hike along valleys, rock ridges, forests and ravines
