Hikers head to the beautiful Gigaro Plage to walk around the cape (Cap Lardier) via the coastal path. Bring your swimming trunks and picnic basket, as you will have little coves to cool off everywhere along the way. Cavalaire is a fun destination even out of season, as there is always something to do, and it often has slightly higher temperatures (microclimate). From Cavalaire, there are super many fun excursions. Take the ferry to the bounty islands of Porquerolles and Ile de Port-Cros. Or get in the car and follow the coastal road to the flower village of Bormes-les-Mimosas, fashionable Saint-Tropez, and colorful Port-Grimaud, also called the little Venice of France. The choice is endless!
