In the morning, get your croissants from the bakery in the village, and while you're in town, pay attention to the cow on the facade by the church tower—the beautiful legend of the city. It is also fun to go rafting on the river la Cure in the Morvan for the really sporty. The real Burgundians will enjoy all the famous expansive vineyards (Sancerre and Pouilly). There are plenty of cosy and historical villages (Nevers and Vézelay) and castles nearby for culture lovers. In short, a top destination!
