We plant trees
Trees absorb carbon dioxide (CO2) from the atmosphere during photosynthesis and store it in their biomass. Therefore, planting trees can help to offset CO2 emissions by providing a natural carbon sink. Through afforestation and reforestation initiatives, we can increase the amount of forested land, and thus increase the capacity for carbon sequestration, leading to a net reduction in atmospheric CO2.
We calculate the emission impact of your travel and funnel funds to offset that footprint by planting an equivalent number of trees. We provide feedback to our travelers on how many trees were planted, indicating their positive impact.
