You’ll meet reindeer in Rovaniemi, be whisked through snow-dusted woodlands by a team of incredible huskies and learn the Finnish art of forest bathing and arctic cocooning with a local family in Levi. Whether you’re sitting by the campfire under the night sky waiting for the northern lights to appear or visiting Santa at his village, there’s plenty of fun to be had for travellers of all ages.This area of Finland can be extremely cold during the winter – when this trip operates. While Northern Light displays can never be guaranteed, as they are a natural phenomenon, you have a higher chance of seeing them in locations at high latitudes, away from areas of light pollution.
